Overview This Manager, Global AR and Credit is to oversee the day to day activities of the Credit & Collections Global Team in the US, LATAM, EMEA & APAC; and ensure company’s finance function is organized, efficient, accurate financial and best supporting domestic and international accounts.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (Accounting or Finance) preferred
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent w/experience required
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Must have Intermediate Excel Knowledge
  • Must have basic accounting knowledge
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Applications and D365 ERP System
  • Ability to understand a complex business and provide solutions
  • Problem Solving & Communication Skills

Nice To Haves

  • 8-10 years of working experience in a credit & collections environment
  • Management experience with AR and/or Credit & Collections
  • Expert knowledge of Order to Cash Process
  • Must have good written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work well with others
  • Must be able to perform in a high-speed, high-pressure environment
  • Must be attentive to details

Responsibilities

  • Lead, Hire, train, manage, retain, and evaluate a Global Collection team of 2+ Supervisors with 20+ employees
  • Ownership of global cash collections, in line with DSO goals
  • Responsible for all Collection / KPI Reporting
  • Review Allowance for bad debt calculations on a monthly basis
  • Coordinate Collection Efforts for Multiple Entities
  • Assist with calculation of the team’s monthly cash collection targets
  • Responsible for Global Collections policies and procedures
  • Assist with external audit and internal audit requests
  • Host meetings with business stakeholders internally & externally
  • Ability to lead, manage and implement new systems and integrations
  • Interface with outside collection agencies, attorneys & various other vendors
  • Month End Reporting & Subledger Reconciliation – Understanding of basic accounting
  • Additional duties as assigned
