We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Operations Manager to lead our investment casting operations in Watertown, WI. The ideal candidate is someone who thrives on driving results, building high-performing teams, and creating a culture rooted in safety, accountability, and continuous improvement. As the Operations Manager, you’ll take full ownership of plant operations, serving as the critical link between customer expectations and operational execution. You will Lead End-to-End Operations: Overseeing Wax, Shell, Foundry, Rough & Final Finish, Shipping, and Maintenance functions, Champion Safety: Building and sustaining a zero-incident culture where safety is the foundation of every decision, Drive Performance: Delivering on production, cost, quality, and delivery targets aligned with the business plan, Develop Leaders: Through coaching and empowering supervisors to achieve departmental goals and elevate team performance, Enhance Customer Success: Advocating for customers by ensuring consistent delivery of high-quality products on time, Execute Continuous Improvement: Lead Lean, Six Sigma, and root cause initiatives to optimize efficiency and reduce waste, and Strategic Collaboration: Partner with the division leadership team to influence plant-wide decisions and long-term strategy.

Requirements

  • This role is designed to develop a high-potential leader with the capability and aspiration to progress into the General Manager position within a 2 to 3-year timeframe.
  • 7+ years of progressive leadership experience in foundry or metals manufacturing
  • Strong expertise in investment casting processes (wax, shelling, melting, pouring, finishing)
  • Experience with high-alloy materials (ferrous, nickel, cobalt-based alloys strongly preferred)
  • Proven success leading continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, Six Sigma, root cause analysis)
  • A leadership style that is decisive, disciplined, and accountability-driven
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Metallurgy, Materials Science, Engineering, or related field preferred.
