About The Position

The Distribution Center Operations Manager supports the daily execution of distribution center operations with a strong focus on customer service, inventory control, operational performance, and team leadership. This role partners closely with the DC Manager to ensure consistent execution of company standards related to safety, quality, productivity, and customer experience. The position provides leadership oversight for assigned functional areas, supports continuous improvement initiatives, and serves as backup site leadership when needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, Supply Chain, or related field preferred.
  • 5+ years of distribution center or operations leadership experience.
  • Strong knowledge of DC operations, inventory control, and customer service processes.
  • Proven ability to lead teams, manage priorities, and drive operational consistency.
  • Experience working with ERP systems and operational reporting tools.
  • Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) in South Florida Region
  • Ability to frequently lift, carry, push, and slide packages that typically weigh up to 50 lbs.
  • Frequently requires standing, walking, bending, climbing, reaching with arms, and constant use of hands.
  • Continuous mental and visual alertness to maintain safety and achieve accuracy.
  • Requires flexibility and mobility in body movements.
  • Occasionally, may be required to lift items greater than 50 lbs. with assistance.

Responsibilities

  • Support daily DC operations to ensure safe, efficient, and accurate fulfillment of customer and branch demand.
  • Monitor and address customer service performance, including fill rate, on-time shipping, order accuracy, and service exceptions.
  • Lead customer issue resolution, root cause analysis, and corrective actions in partnership with DC leadership, Sales, and Branch Operations.
  • Provide operational oversight of Inventory Control, including inventory accuracy, slotting, replenishment, and space utilization.
  • Manage and support DC administrative functions and assigned team members.
  • Track and communicate DC operational performance metrics and reporting.
  • Support customer returns, will-call operations, and critical shipment execution.
  • Lead or support continuous improvement and customer experience initiatives.
  • Partner with the DC Manager and HR to support performance management and leadership development.
  • Serve as acting DC leadership in the absence of the DC Manager.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Lead, coach, and develop logistics staff to achieve performance goals and maintain high engagement.
  • Participate in recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding new branch employees to ensure staffing needs are met.
  • Provide overall leadership to drive flawless execution, culture, and company values
  • Ensure associates comply with all safety policies, procedures and regulations.
