This is a site-based role and requires attendance at the site 4 to 5 days a week in Quincy, Washington. Position Overview The EHS Manager works with the North American EHS team and local Data Center Operational teams to support the implementation of a world-class environmental health and safety system. This role focuses on maintaining the highest EHS standards within a specific campus or facility to meet Vantage and Customer requirements. Position Description The EHS Manager is responsible for the day-to-day health and safety of our Data Centers, advancing safety culture, and protecting our employees at the site level. They will work closely with site Operations, Security, and Logistics teams to execute Vantage’s health and safety program. The EHS Manager partners with operational teams to ensure risks are identified and mitigated in real-time and oversees sub-contractors to ensure adherence to safety goals. This position is pivotal to ensuring that we continue to lead the industry in operational excellence with particular emphasis on executing and reporting on all EHS areas within the local business unit. The role requires autonomy and is responsible for implementing and monitoring processes that include: High Risk Activities: Working at Heights, Mobile Equipment, Hazardous Materials Management, Confined Space, Lifting Operations, Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), Excavations, Electrical Safety (NFPA 70E), Fire Safety & Hot Works. Occupational Health & Hygiene: Ergonomics, thermal hazards, noise monitoring, and industrial hygiene exposure assessments. Emergency Response: Executing site drills and maintaining local emergency plans. Risk Mitigation: Facilitating Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs) and Method of Procedure (MOP) reviews. 3rd Party Safety: Vendor and contractor field oversight.
