About The Position

Reports to the Vice President Operational Security and assists with managing the Operational Security of the Credit Union's Branch Facilities. Supports the Security Management of the Credit Union's Branches, tenants and departments occupying space within the facilities, off-site locations, and properties. Ensures a professional image is consistently maintained, enhanced quality service is adhered to, and all Branch needs are addressed while supporting the image and branding of the credit union.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of law enforcement, physical/operational security, or similar experience required.
  • 2 or more years of leadership experience.
  • Experience with electronic security systems, specifically March Networks, DMP, and Entre is a plus.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Current Utah concealed carry permit or Current Law Enforcement credentials or permission to carry a firearm under the Federal Law Enforcement Safety Act.
  • CPR Advanced First Aid preferred or to obtain within first 6 months.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Security leadership to develop and implement security strategies aligned with organizational goals.
  • Execute the strategic vision and plan for security operations across Mountain America.
  • Assist in conducting and managing physical security site reviews, inspections, and evaluations.
  • Ensure all security requirements are met in accordance with internal and external regulatory guidelines.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry innovations, practices, and trends.
  • Manage the team's daily responsibilities, tasks, and projects.
  • Support the development and skill enhancement for team members including providing coaching on performance, behavior, and development.
  • Delegate duties, tasks, and projects effectively, ensuring adherence to quality and budget constraints.
  • Oversee the implementation and administration of MACU robbery programs and other MACU security/safety programs.
  • Facilitate resolution and analysis of issues to ensure quality service.
  • Enhance quality service while ensuring safety and security for the credit union and staff.
  • Train security team members in implementing security protocols and equipment.
  • Assist in the management of branch employee robbery and safety training.
  • Travel to branches as necessary for security evaluations, implementations, and training.
  • Act as a liaison with law enforcement on criminal matters or events.
  • Provide on-time, on-schedule, and on-scope project delivery.
  • Ensure the team's appropriate responses to emergency situations.
  • Maintain a consistent, professional image for the team.
  • Partner with leadership to effectively manage the security operations budget.
  • Ensure contracted services meet MACU guidelines and standards.
  • Administer and maintain physical security controls of MACU properties.
  • Collaborate with vendors to maintain and update security systems and processes.
  • Review invoices against original proposals for accuracy and approve within limits.
  • Analyze physical security risks for all MACU locations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
