About The Position

Restaurant Brands International is seeking a Manager, Office & Facilities to join the Burger King Operations Team at the new Royal Innovation Center in Miami, Florida. This role involves overseeing the facilities and office activities to ensure the space is safe, functional, efficient, and provides a positive experience for employees and visitors. The manager will be responsible for the state-of-the-art facility, act as a receptionist in the lobby, and handle administrative duties such as setting up and scheduling meetings, coordinating office events, and greeting guests. The ideal candidate is passionate about creating a great environment within the facility.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent professional experience
  • 5+ years facility management experience OR restaurant management experience
  • Strong project management skills with demonstrated ability to manage and coordinate multiple schedules to facilitate timely achievement of results.
  • Ability to provide an accurate account of work including progress on action plans to meet time and budget constraints
  • Ability to develop strong relationships with vendors and internal stakeholders
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), ability to easily learn new platform and systems
  • A team player who is resourceful and service-oriented
  • You take personal responsibility for delivering high quality work

  • Ability to initiative, ask questions, multi-task and prioritize effectively, and can work under minimal supervision is strongly preferred

Responsibilities

  • Plans, manages and controls Facilities operations budget for the BK Royal Innovation Center. This includes resource planning and forecasting.
  • Lead facilities' maintenance operations of building, including oversee and coordinate preventative and emergency maintenance/repair work assignments performed by technicians, vendors and contractors performing building maintenance, security and janitorial work
  • Manage relationship between landlords/property managers
  • Lead, facilitate, and contribute to the work of deliverables related to overall facilities planning and design, space management, and projects
  • Prepares Operations R&D Kitchen for testing simulations including readying equipment for use and ordering and stocking food.
  • Lead the delivery of an exceptional employee experience through high-touch customer service, driving productivity, engagement and satisfaction.
  • Manage front desk in Reception area by greeting guests, vendors, and contractors
  • Ensure building security
  • Assist with preparation and Franchisee Council and Board meetings held in the Royal Innovation Center
