About The Position

We’re seeking a Manager of Youth Services to lead and grow our youth rehabilitation programs across Central Florida. This position will be a member of the Program Leadership Team, fostering and developing a collaborative team environment that focuses resources on each client’s ability to achieve their programmatic goals. Responsibilities include leadership, team building/supervision, direct service, program development, quality and improvement, and resource management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred) in a related field
  • 2+ years’ experience working with individuals with visual impairments (or other disabilities)
  • Strong leadership, team-building, and program management skills
  • Passion for mission-driven work and improving lives
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience working in youth services, with a focus on individuals with visual impairments or other disabilities.
  • Proven track record of managing and leading teams in a nonprofit or similar organizational setting.
  • Experience in developing and implementing programs tailored to the needs of visually impaired youth.
  • Demonstrated success in collaborating with community organizations, schools, and families to enhance service delivery.
  • Prior experience in budget management and resource allocation for youth programs.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate staff.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to design and evaluate youth programs to ensure they meet the needs of participants and align with organizational goals.
  • Proficiency in using technology and adaptive tools to support visually impaired individuals.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with a focus on innovative solutions.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment, fostering partnerships and alliances.
  • High level of cultural competency and sensitivity to the needs of diverse populations.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
