About The Position

The Manager of Training Design and Development is responsible for leading the design, development, implementation, and evaluation of various training solutions at BrightSpring Health Services. This role involves managing a team of instructional designers, ensuring the delivery of impactful, learner-centered training programs that enhance employee performance across the organization. The manager collaborates with leadership to identify training needs and develops effective solutions to support overall business success.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Training & Development, Psychology, Education, Human Resources, Business, or a related field required, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Two plus years of training design experience developing customized, blended training programs within a large-structured and complex business environment.
  • Experience working with learning management systems (LMS) and in adult learning, performance measurement, and needs assessment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, Articulate 360, and other design programs.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in video editing.
  • Ability to evaluate the performance of existing training programs and recommend points of improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain day-to-day responsibilities of the instructional design team, ensuring projects are executed smoothly, efficiently, on time, and within budget.
  • Certify consistency in the quality of training solutions launched by the department.
  • Provide regular feedback and coaching to the team to ensure ongoing development and growth.
  • Conduct tracking and reporting of the progress for all ongoing training programs.
  • Manage vendor relations and ensure strong working partnerships with cross-functional teams.
  • Lead the design and development of training solutions utilizing various design tools and technology, including Adobe Creative Suite and Articulate 360.
  • Assist with executing the training strategy for various business lines across the company.
  • Work closely with departmental heads to develop training solutions unique to their needs.
  • Establish metrics that measure the performance and success of ongoing training programs.
  • Participate in leadership meetings, training events, and seminars.
