About The Position

As the Manager of Testing & Validation-Claims/Encounters, you will oversee and lead the quality assurance processes for our software systems focusing specifically on claims and encounters functions. This role involves leading a dedicated team of T&V professionals, ensuring that all software releases meet the highest standards of quality and efficiency. The manager will be responsible for coordinating team responsibilities, assigning individual tasks, and leading the overall strategic direction of the T&V efforts in these areas.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years experience in a T&V leadership role, particularly in software related to claims and encounters.
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and team members effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on mentoring and team development.
  • Knowledge of T&V methodologies, tools, and processes, with a commitment to maintaining high quality standards.

Responsibilities

  • Testing and Validation Oversight: Oversee the testing of new software releases as well as validation of set up changes, focusing on claims and encounters systems to ensure they meet business requirements and quality standards. This includes attending T&V meetings with other departments for relevant subject matter including BRFS review, development turnover and product demonstrations.
  • Team Leadership and Coordination: Lead the claims side of the T&V team by setting clear goals and expectations, coordinating daily activities, and ensuring effective collaboration across the team. This includes coordination with the enrollment/billing side of the T&V team as necessary.
  • Task Assignment: Assign individual work items and projects to team members based on their skills, experience, and workload to ensure efficient and effective completion of T&V tasks.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and improve T&V processes and practices to increase efficiency and effectiveness in testing methodologies.
  • Mentoring and Development: Act as a mentor to team members, providing guidance and support in their professional growth. Lead by example in all areas of quality assurance and team leadership.
  • Performance Reviews: Conduct regular performance reviews for all team members, providing constructive feedback and guiding professional development.
  • Time and PTO Tracking: Manage time tracking and PTO scheduling for the team, ensuring adequate coverage and compliance with company policies.
