Duties: Create and manage a centralized scalable cloud-based big data warehouse using Cloud technologies including AWS, Azure, GCP, and Databricks. Create physical and logical models and automate reporting using Tableau dashboards. Perform Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) for data loads and manual feeds. Coach and manage team members, setting objectives, and guiding them in career growth. Perform successful proofs of concept by moving on-premise data into AWS. Create security identity and access management (IAM) roles and attach them to internal security roles for seamless security interactions. Work with users and stakeholders to understand requirements, break them into individual tasks, and assign to team members for execution. Optimize performance, provide rapid responses to user queries, and ensure performance SLAs are achieved. Create project plan and architecture diagrams to move on-premise applications into AWS. QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum education and experience required: Master's Degree in Software Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field of study plus 5 years in the job offered or as Manager of Software Engineering, Software Engineer, Software/Application Developer, Associate (IT), Programmer Analyst, or related occupation. The employer will alternatively accept a Bachelor's Degree in Software Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field of study plus 7 years in the job offered or as Manager of Software Engineering, Software Engineer, Software/Application Developer, Associate (IT), Programmer Analyst, or related occupation. Skills Required: This position requires experience with the following: delivering solutions using AI and machine learning models; designing, implementing, and maintaining data pipelines using Python and PySpark on Databricks; building Databricks notebooks to solve complex business problems; Databricks data engineering including Job Runs, Data Ingestion, Delta Live Tables, and Spark Streaming; developing and maintaining applications using AWS cloud services including Aurora, Hive, Splunk, AWS Glue, AWS S3, EC2 instances, EKS, ECS, Terraform, and Lambda services; managing React JS user interface applications; building Hadoop-based data warehouses; building dashboards using data visualization tools Qlikview, IBM Cognos, or Tableau; using SQL to write highly performant queries; designing and building multi-dimensional cubes using tools such as Kyvos; using GIT to manage code versions; CI and CD pipelines for application development; delivering features into production systems in a rapid-paced, Agile development environment.
