About The Position
Responsible for conducting investigations for any suspected or known theft or other violations, preparing daily work assignments for line personnel and staff, overseeing operation and maintenance of security systems and key control systems, writing out detailed and updated incidents reports for daily meetings and ensuring that surveillance is monitored effectively for the campus. The Security Manager under the direction of the Director of Security will interview, hire and train new employees and will need to be able to terminate employees when necessary. Estimated salary range for this position is $80970.14 - $105261.18 / year depending on experience.
Requirements
- Bachelors Degree
- Drivers License from Florida
- Five years experience in security, at least two in a supervisory role.
- Proficient in conflict management and with skills in self defense.
Nice To Haves
- Computer proficiency with Excel, Word, Prowatch and video surveillance systems preferred.
