In this position, you will oversee the daily management of on-site security operations, including the performance of contracted security guards. You will assist both the Director of Security and the Senior Director of Safety and Security. The role involves providing administrative support, managing projects, handling emergency situations, formulating safety policies, and performing various related tasks. To succeed, you should be self-driven, have strong communication skills, and contribute to the creation of new policies, procedures, and plans. A high level of tact, diplomacy, professional ethics, sensitivity to challenges, and utmost discretion regarding confidential information and sensitive personnel matters is essential. This position is not solely office-based; you will be expected to travel throughout the metro-Boston area as part of your role. You will regularly visit all Pine Street Inn sites to assess security needs and monitor the performance of contracted security guards. Additionally, you will provide on-the-spot coaching and correction to ensure that safety, security, and respectful treatment of all staff, guests, and visitors remain a priority.
