About The Position

The Manager of SBHI Youth Services, Intake & Community Services is responsible for development, implementation, and management oversight of access to services and strategic goals and daily and clinical operations of outpatient youth services in Montgomery County in a manner that operationalizes the vision, mission, and values of Samaritan Behavioral Health/Premier Health. This position oversees the administrative and operational aspects of youth services serving ages 9-18 in an outpatient setting, access to services ensuring that calls are answered and potential clients are registered in a timely manner for evaluation to open the pathway to ongoing services and has oversight of Compliance & Regulatory procedures as well. This position also collaborates with the manager of YCATS to ensure comprehensive youth services to the Montgomery County community.

  • Oversees staff meetings
  • Oversees all clinical programming and operation of Youth Services in Montgomery County, Intake and current grants delivering the Rebound Services via the SAMHSA grant and overseeing the DAWN Project.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the SBHI President & CEO and SBHI Management team to design and implement strategies for organizational structure and daily operational implementation of opioid addiction and substance abuse treatment services
  • Oversees the major administrative functions of SBHI substance services including administration of clinical and record keeping systems; development of operating policies and procedures; oversees compliance and regulatory matters; managing client flow and service utilization through defining client intake, treatment paths, and continuing care protocols.
  • Represents the OP Youth Services treatment services within the agency’s service continuum, in the community and to external customers. Attend meetings in the community and network with other organizations to further SBHI youth treatment strategies.
  • Manages all clinical, medical and support services. Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of these units. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
