We are seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Manager of Sales Strategy and Analytics to join our team. This role will be pivotal in optimizing our sales process, maintaining high-quality data in Salesforce, and supporting our Finance and other teams with accurate forecasting. Additionally, this individual will assist the business with due diligence requests for fundraising initiatives. The ideal candidate will be analytical, proactive, and skilled in leveraging data to drive business decisions.

  • Define and Document Sales Process: Build and refine existing sales processes to enhance clarity across the sales team, and to drive efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Develop and implement strategies to streamline operations and support sales targets.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and recommend actionable solutions.
  • Data Management and Reporting: Maintain and ensure the accuracy of sales data in Salesforce.
  • Generate and analyze sales reports, identifying trends and providing insights.
  • Develop dashboards and visualizations to communicate performance metrics to stakeholders.
  • Forecasting and Financial Support: Collaborate with Finance to create and maintain accurate sales forecasts.
  • Support forecasting activities with detailed data analysis and trend identification.
  • Assist in financial planning and analysis to support strategic decision-making.
  • Market and Competitive Analysis: Conduct market research to understand industry trends, competitor competencies and strategies, and identify potential partnerships.
  • Provide insights and recommendations based on competitive and partnership analysis to guide sales strategies.
  • Share findings with the sales team to support strategic positioning and decision-making.
  • Due Diligence and Risk Management: Assist with data collection and analysis for fundraising due diligence requests.
  • Identify and address potential risks or issues within the sales process.
  • Develop strategies to mitigate risks and ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Collaboration and Support: Partner with sales, product, and marketing teams to align on goals and strategies.
  • Provide training and support on Salesforce and other sales tools.
  • Analyze customer data to identify patterns and opportunities for sales growth.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in Sales Operations, Analytics, and Strategy preferably in a high growth tech or SaaS environment.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce and strong understanding of CRM data management.
  • Must have the technical acumen to operate as an individual contributor today with the strategic vision to grow and scale a large team in the future.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.
  • Strong Excel skills and experience with data visualization tools.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • 8-10 years experience.
