About The Position

The Manager, Sales Operations (MSO) manages support functions essential to sales force productivity. These include sales reporting, sales process optimization, sales training and sales program implementation. The MSO is responsible for supporting the consistent application of programs and processes to improve overall productivity and effectiveness of the sales organization. Reporting to the Senior Vice President, Energy Services (or eventual Sales Director), the MSO also works closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the appropriate objectives and priorities are enabled within the sales organization supported.

Requirements

  • Four year college degree or equivalent in experience.
  • Two years sales management experience in a business-to-consumer sales environment.
  • Demonstrated proficiency managing analytically rigorous initiatives.
  • Microsoft Office proficiency.
  • Ability to travel throughout PA, NJ, NY, CT, MA.

Nice To Haves

  • HVAC or Home Services sales experience.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinates sales forecasting used within the sales organization.
  • Proactively identifies opportunities for sales process improvement.
  • Monitors the accuracy and efficient distribution of sales reports essential to the sales organization.
  • Implements enabling technologies to field sales teams.
  • Coordinates training delivery to sales, sales management, and sales support personnel.
  • Provides assistance with sales incentive compensation administration on an as-needed basis.
