Role Summary The Manager of Retail Sales leads sales performance and colleague development across the branch network. This role combines strategic leadership with hands-on coaching to strengthen customer relationships, improve results, and build future leaders. It offers the opportunity to influence enterprise outcomes while developing talent at scale.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 6+ years experience in retail banking, financial services, or sales coaching/training.
  • 3+ years experience as a Branch Manager, District Manager, or similar leadership role.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience leading sales coaching teams across multiple locations.
  • Strong facilitation or training background.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop a retail sales team to deliver consistent, high-impact coaching across branches.
  • Coach Branch Managers and Relationship Bankers through in-branch observations, role play, and feedback.
  • Drive application of training by partnering with learning teams and supporting new colleagues.
  • Analyze sales performance and partner with branch leadership on targeted improvement plans.
  • Implement and reinforce consistent sales processes and tools.
  • Collaborate with Product, Marketing, and Leadership to align sales strategies and campaigns.
  • Share best practices and recognize performance excellence across the network.
