Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition, Hospitality Management, Instructional Design, or a related field preferred.
Experience in training or Learning & Development, including instructional design.
Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and digital training platforms preferred.
Knowledge of regulatory and legislative processes preferred.
Project management experience preferred.
Prior experience in the food service industry is required.
Exceptional organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills for diverse audiences.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and reporting tools; experience with data analysis preferred.
Ability to work collaboratively across departments and influence stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Maintain and update Compass’s nutrition, wellbeing, and allergen training programs to ensure accuracy and relevance.
Partner with Learning & Development to incorporate best practices in instructional design and adult learning principles.
Handle monthly tracking and invoicing for internal teams and external training certification providers.
Monitor training completion rates and compliance metrics through the Compass Learning System; generate regular reports for leadership and sectors.
Identify opportunities to enhance training engagement and effectiveness through innovative tools and methods.
Continuously track federal, state, and local regulatory changes related to nutrition, allergens, and safety.
Communicate actionable insights to internal stakeholders.
Maintain comprehensive documentation of enforcement.
