About The Position

Are you a collaborative, mission-driven leader passionate about strengthening families and preventing abuse and neglect? We are seeking a Manager of Parent Education Programs to provide leadership and oversight of our evidence-based parenting programs that support families, build parenting skills, and promote safe, healthy home environments. A Day in the Life The Manager of Parent Education Programs provides leadership, administrative oversight, and supervision of Parent Education Programs. This position is responsible for program coordination, staff development, community collaboration, and quality assurance. The Manager ensures fidelity to evidence-based curricula, supports participants and staff, and oversees data collection, reporting, and compliance requirements.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in psychology, education, social work, counseling, or a related human services field required
  • Two years of leadership or supervisory experience strongly preferred
  • Extensive knowledge of family systems, parenting, child development, dynamics of domestic violence, substance abuse, child abuse, and the cycle of violence
  • Strong crisis intervention skills and knowledge of mandatory reporting laws
  • Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed
  • Advanced public speaking and group facilitation skills; strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Valid state driver’s license with an insurable driving record required
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook

Responsibilities

  • Provide overall leadership, direction, and supervision for Parent Education Programs
  • Supervise, coach, and support program staff to ensure curriculum fidelity and policy compliance
  • Coordinate referrals, class assignments, and participant intake processes
  • Collaborate with third-party stakeholders regarding participant admission, progress, and attendance
  • Build and maintain relationships with community partners and leaders
  • Monitor staff performance, training, and personnel requirements
  • Monitor program budget and complete monthly variance reports
  • Oversee staffing schedules to ensure adequate coverage during program hours
  • Facilitate Prevention and Early Intervention Parent Education Programs (in-person and virtual)
