About The Position

The Manager of Operations in the Health Care and Social Assistance sector is responsible for overseeing and optimizing the daily operational activities to ensure efficient delivery of healthcare services. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Health Administration, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in healthcare operations or management roles.
  • Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations, compliance standards, and accreditation processes.
  • Proven experience managing budgets and operational resources effectively.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to manage multidisciplinary teams.
  • Must be willing to travel state wide NJ.

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree in Health Administration, Public Health, or Business Administration.
  • Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems and healthcare IT solutions.
  • Certification such as Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) or Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives (FACHE).
  • Demonstrated success in leading quality improvement initiatives within healthcare settings.
  • Familiarity with data analytics tools and performance improvement methodologies.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate daily operations across multiple departments to ensure smooth and efficient healthcare service delivery.
  • Develop and implement operational policies and procedures that comply with healthcare laws and accreditation standards.
  • Manage budgets, monitor expenditures, and optimize resource utilization to meet financial and operational goals.
  • Collaborate with clinical leaders to improve patient flow, reduce wait times, and enhance overall patient experience.
  • Analyze operational metrics and prepare reports to inform leadership decisions and strategic planning.
  • Oversee staff recruitment, training, and performance management to build a competent and motivated workforce.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and lead initiatives to increase operational efficiency and quality of care.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, health, and regulatory requirements across all operational activities.
