Get to Know Your Team: Lovelace Women’s Hospital has 120 licensed beds, including a 53-bed advanced neonatal intensive care unit, a family care unit, an award-winning breast care center, and the first robotic surgery program in the state recognized as a Center of Excellence in Robotic Surgery by Surgical Review Corporation.

Requirements

A bachelor’s in Nursing from an accredited school is required. If the applicant does not hold a BSN, they must be enrolled in an accredited BSN program with a scheduled completion date.
Current RN license or current license deemed acceptable by the applicable State Board of Nursing.
BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and before providing direct patient care.
Facility/unit-specific certifications

Nice To Haves

Minimum of 3-5 years’ clinical nursing experience in ICU or ED.

Responsibilities

The nurse manager will promote the mission and values of the organization and be an active advocate of providing quality patient care, excellent customer service and efficient health care.
As a member of the management team, the nurse manager will be involved in system planning, budgeting, manpower planning and program development in order to deliver efficient, effective and quality patient care.
