About The Position

As the Manager of Med -Surg and Telemetry, you will play a vital leadership role in ensuring the highest standards of patient care, operational excellence, and team performance across the Med -Surg and Telemetry units. Requirements

• Two (2) years of recent Med -Surg/Telemetry department -specific experience required
• Charge nurse or supervisory experience in the department preferred
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in a related field required
• Master’s degree from an accredited college or university in a related field preferred
• Registered Nurse with current California RN license
• Current BLS certification
• ACLS certification
• Basic EKG/tele interpretation experience required or completion of a Basic EKG class within six months of employment

Nice To Haves

• Charge nurse or supervisory experience in the department preferred
• Master’s degree from an accredited college or university in a related field preferred

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in all aspects of patient care and documentation
• Maintain confidentiality and function effectively in a high -volume patient environment
• Exhibit excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Utilize strong computer skills and a solid understanding of English grammar and punctuation
• Apply mathematical skills to calculate proportions, percentages, BSA, circumference, and volume
• Define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
