As the Manager of Infrastructure Security, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing the security posture of our IT infrastructure. Leading a small diverse team, your primary responsibilities will include owning and enhancing server operating system and hardware firmware patching processes, implementing and maintaining robust server and server hardware configuration management, leading the roadmap for automation configuration tasks, and owning vulnerability management remediation for in scope services. You will work closely with various teams to ensure our systems are secure, compliant, and up-to-date.

  • Owning and enhancing patch management processes to ensure all systems are up-to-date with the latest security patches.
  • Owning and enhancing the server and server hardware configuration management process.
  • Developing and enhancing strategy while leading team initiatives to automate server configuration management tasks using centralized tooling.
  • Working closely with IT Security team to address issues found on vulnerability assessments and regular scans.
  • Ensuring server and server hardware configurations are in compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Owning the investigation and resolution of Infrastructure incidents.
  • Leading a small, diverse team of infrastructure security professionals.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in infrastructure with a focus on server operating systems (Windows and Linux), server hardware configuration, patching, server configuration management, and vulnerability remediation.
  • 2+ years of people leadership and IT management experience with focus in Infrastructure.
  • Proficiency in scripting automation runbooks using scripting languages such as PowerShell, Bash, JavaScript and Python.
  • Strong understanding of infrastructure security best practices and industry standards.
  • Experience with vulnerability assessment tools and techniques.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication, team building and collaboration skills.
  • Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: DevOps Engineer Expert, Red Hat Certified System Administrator, VMware Certified Technical Associate and Security+.
  • Experience with IaaS on cloud platforms AWS and Azure.
