The Manager of Information Technology Solutions is responsible for supporting sales reps across the company, through maintaining the IT infrastructure and ensuring end-user satisfaction. The Manager of Information Technology Solutions will work alongside the sales and IT leadership to understand and support needs for computer operations and production support, systems and database administration, network operations, telecommunications, PC/desktop support and customer service. The role ensures systems performance and service level requirements are met; provides in-depth technical expertise for both tactical and operational initiatives.

  • Serve as the go to support desk helper for field sales reps to create IT solutions quickly and efficiently.
  • Setup and deploy custom IT equipment.
  • Develop solutions to sales related IT issues.
  • Provide on-boarding and training support for all users IT needs.
  • Create custom reports using conventional data methods.
  • Create custom solutions for software systems that will help sales reps in the field.
  • Set-up and run regional training events for IT equipment and infrastructure.
  • Travel up to 25% to offices across the country to meet with sales team and help establish new IT needs across the company.
  • Develop programs and apps that will help our sales team run a more efficient process.
  • Work with leadership to provide companywide solutions for IT needs.
  • Set deadlines based on customer commitments and business needs; ensure deadlines are met.
  • Implement and ensure compliance with IT Systems Management Processes (e.g., ITIL) and Quality programs
  • Maintain established service level commitments for services on all technology platforms, including process measurement as well as customer satisfaction measurement.
  • Ensure established system procedures, including user ID maintenance, system resource monitoring, system tuning, capacity planning, backup/restore and the appropriate transfer of test systems to production operations and quality assurance
  • Identify operational issues impacting service levels and streamline IT processes to provide real-time visibility into infrastructure performance
  • Ensure uniform configuration standards for all infrastructure components and application appropriate maintenance activities
  • Demonstrate a high level of service delivery and do whatever is necessary, without compromising the integrity of the infrastructure, to ensure customer satisfaction. Be cognizant of end user experience with using technologies. Strive for a balance of user friendly and secure environment
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or Information Technology
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in an IT infrastructure support role
  • Demonstrated experience working with non-IT professionals delivering IT solutions
  • Advanced knowledge of servers, storage, network, operating systems, telecom, system management practices and tools.
  • Data center operations experience including capacity planning and forecasting, disaster recovery and business continuity.
  • Excellent analytical, planning, project management, problem-solving, negotiation and organizational skills.
  • Excellent knowledge of product life cycle, tools, processes and operations planning.
  • Proactive, communicative, smart, motivated, organized, results oriented and thrive within a fast-paced highly demanding 24 by 7 environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully manage multiple projects/priorities simultaneously.
  • Technically fluent and sound in architectural and operational concepts of cloud computing, IaaS, SaaS, networking, enterprise storage systems, backups, internet security, load balancing, directory services, application and infrastructure monitoring, virtualization, automation, databases, disaster recovery, high availability, scalability and web site performance management.
  • Fluent in industry standard technologies (such as) from Cisco, EMC, Dell, VMWare, Linux, Microsoft Windows, IIS, MS SQL Server, Data Center Automation Tools, etc.
  • Healthcare experience preferable
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
