At Alliant Energy, we are currently seeking a talented and experienced Manager of Information Technology (Enterprise Application Integration). In this pivotal role, you will lead and guide a team through the end-to-end delivery of our products and services, ensuring that our middleware, integration, and microservices initiatives are effectively managed and aligned with business objectives. This position requires a strong leader who excels in coaching, communication, and stakeholder engagement. You will perform all leadership duties, including hiring and rewarding talent, fostering an inclusive and safe workplace, and partnering with employees to set clear goals and expectations. You will also provide timely and specific feedback on performance, develop improvement plans to address performance gaps, and address conflict with care and respect. Your role will involve identifying opportunities for growth and development, embracing and modeling a mindset of lifelong learning, and ensuring employees report to work fit for duty while adhering to our Code of Conduct and modeling Alliant Energy's Core Values at all times. As the Manager of IT for Enterprise Application Integration, you will manage the lifecycle of products or services, including maintenance, patching, and new version introductions. You will lead and participate in technology planning processes to align on priorities across IT services, focusing on outcomes and objectives and key results (OKRs) to deliver cost-effective, customer-driven technology solutions. This will involve developing long-term strategic relationships with customer and industry leaders and being responsible to business leaders for the development of solutions, scope development, prioritization, and delivery of systems and functions. You will jointly develop plans and solutions in a timely and cost-effective manner, ensuring the most effective utilization of product group resources. In addition, you will provide leadership and direction for the communication and implementation of new practices to increase organizational performance and success within IT. You will ensure that solutions and development options meet customer needs, are appropriately prioritized, and are delivered in a timely and cost-effective manner. Leveraging the Sourcing department, you will manage vendor relationships and agreements to ensure quality services are provided in a cost-effective manner and that agreed-upon service levels and contract terms are met. Engaging in other duties as needed that support Alliant Energy's Values and help deliver on our Purpose to serve customers and build stronger communities will also be part of your responsibilities.
