Do you see a garden and think strategy? Do you geek out over greenhouses, rare specimens, and the science of making things bloom? We're looking for a Manager of Horticulture to lead the living, growing heart of our Zoo — shaping botanical exhibitions that stop visitors in their tracks, building a team that takes pride in every petal, and championing the sustainability practices that keep our green spaces thriving for generations to come. The Manager of Horticulture is responsible for the strategic planning, execution, and continuous improvement of the Zoo’s horticulture operations and botanical exhibitions. The role provides leadership and direction for horticulture staff and volunteers to ensure excellence in the Zoo’s botanical presentation. Oversight includes greenhouse operations, plant procurement, cultivation/reproduction, garden maintenance and aesthetics, sustainability practices, pest control, and staff and guest safety.
