About The Position

Position Summary: The Manager of Financial Reporting is primarily responsible for overseeing month-end financial reporting, preparing year-end financial statements, coordinating the year-end audit process, accounting for acquisitions, and reviewing equity activity on the balance sheet.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the preparation and review of monthly consolidated financial statements in compliance with U.S. GAAP.
  • Participate in technical accounting research and drive the implementation and adoption of new and revised accounting standards.
  • Direct the year‑end financial reporting process, including coordination of audit requests and preparation of financial statements and related footnotes.
  • Review purchase agreements and evaluate the accounting implications of new acquisitions, including oversight of post‑opening balance sheet entries.
  • Manage and provide strategic oversight to a Senior Corporate Accountant responsible for day‑to‑day equity accounting activities, including minority interest redemptions, contributions, and distributions.
  • Oversee the preparation, review, and reconciliation of net income allocations across legal entities to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Review and ensure the timely and accurate processing of acquisition holdbacks and earn‑out payments to sellers.
