About The Position

The Manager of Financial Planning & Analysis at Globalstar is responsible for providing comprehensive financial forecasts and analyses to support decision-making for internal and external stakeholders. This role requires strong analytical skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, ensuring compliance with financial covenants and providing insights across various functional groups. The position also involves supervising a junior financial analyst and preparing materials for special projects and investor relations.

Requirements

• Undergraduate degree in Finance or Accounting preferred
• 3-5 years of Finance experience
• Strong working knowledge of all financial statements
• Strong quantitative ability
• Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint and Word
• Ability to work in a fast-paced high-visibility environment
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Ability to effectively communicate ideas to senior management

Nice To Haves

• MBA preferred
• Experience in investment banking, consulting or corporate finance role preferred

Responsibilities

• Provides short-term & long-term financial forecasts for internal and external stakeholders
• Performs assessment to track the company's compliance to debt covenants
• Prepares cash flow analyses to identify key sources and uses of liquidity
• Provides rigorous financial analyses across a broad range of topics to support senior management decision making
• Assesses company financial performance across all regions and products
• Provides financial support and analytical insight to multiple functional groups within Globalstar
• Prepares materials to support special projects, business development and investor relations
• Supervises a junior financial analyst or similar role, including instructing and reviewing various work assignments, as needed
• Completes other ad-hoc tasks, as needed
