About The Position

Responsible for the strategic oversight of the department/division’s resources including budget management of fund sources and human resource management, facilities and space planning and other daily business operations. The position involves directing all financial functions of the division, including business planning, budget development, analysis and implementation, coordination with CFU central accounting/financial planning, general accounting, financial reporting, variance analysis, revenue modeling, cost and project accounting and auditing of the annual operating budget. The role may also coordinate all human resources functions as the department/division’s primary personnel officer and liaison to Human Resources for searches, recruitment authorizations, salary/staffing models and annual performance review process. Additionally, the position plans, coordinates and conducts complex projects, particularly those related to the implementation of the Division’s strategic plan, creates reports, serves on campus and divisional committees, and provides staff training related to enhancing staff knowledge and expertise of budget management. Other duties may be assigned as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or combination of education and/or experience may substitute for minimum education.
  • Relevant experience of 5 years.

Responsibilities
