About The Position

Hodgson Russ seeks a Manager of Financial Analysis & Reporting to lead in the design and execution of the firm’s business intelligence strategy and execution. The incumbent reports directly to the CFO and collaborates with attorneys and business professionals throughout the firm to identify business information needs and create responsive processes and reports. The Manager of Financial Analysis & Reporting creates procedures for data mining, reporting and analysis and proactively identifies trends within the data analyzed and recommends responsive actions to firm leadership. He/she oversees both recurring and ad-hoc financial analyses at multiple levels, including attorney specific, practice group / area, and geographic location. A Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting, with eight years’ progressively more responsible full-time experience in a financial analyst or closely related role, preferably working within the business services sector. The ideal candidate will have experience in a law firm or other business services environment. Expertise in using financial software and ERP systems are essential. At this time, the good faith estimate of the annual salary range for this position, if the successful applicant is based in Buffalo or Rochester is $100,00 to $120,000. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting
