About The Position

We are growing and in search of a Manager of Facility Renovation and Expansion Project Management in the Detroit Metro Area to join our team! Our Company currently operates more than 25 women’s healthcare private practices across MI, IL, AL, CO, MS, MO, GA, and TN and is a portfolio company of Shore Capital Partners. The Manager of Facility Renovation and Expansion Project Management is responsible for leading and overseeing the planning, coordination, and execution of complex renovation and facility expansion projects across the organization. This role ensures that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to quality and safety standards while aligning with strategic business and operational goals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
  • 7+ years of experience in project management for facility renovations and expansions, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven track record managing complex capital improvement and infrastructure projects in healthcare, education, industrial, or commercial sectors.
  • Strong knowledge of construction project lifecycles, capital planning, and facility systems.
  • Excellent leadership, negotiation, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end management of renovation and expansion projects from concept to completion.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans including budgets, timelines, scopes, and resource allocation.
  • Coordinate feasibility studies, space planning, and infrastructure assessments.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders (operations, engineering, IT, safety, etc.) to understand needs and minimize operational disruption.
  • Manage relationships with external contractors, architects, engineers, and regulatory agencies.
  • Prepare and manage project budgets, forecasts, and cost control measures.
  • Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies to reduce project delays and cost overruns.
  • Ensure all projects comply with building codes, safety regulations, environmental standards, and organizational policies.
  • Oversee quality control processes, site inspections, and commissioning activities.
  • Provide regular updates to leadership on project status, key issues, and performance metrics.
  • Maintain project documentation including contracts, change orders, and progress reports.
