About The Position

The Manager of Donor Engagement, Programs plans and manages all aspects of programming for the Associates and Chairman’ Council, Corporate Partners, Affinity Groups, Fiske Kimball Society, stewardship travel program, Anne d'Harnoncourt Society, cultivation events, and other events as designated by the Director of Donor Engagement.

Requirements

  • Progressive experience in engagement events and programs, preferably in an arts, cultural, or education setting.
  • Exceptional communication skills.
  • Experience in direct donor/constituent communication.
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, writing, and time management skills; attention to detail; and the ability to respect and maintain confidentiality.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs.
  • Familiarity with CRM, Email Management, and Event Managements Systems (such as Raiser’s Edge, Campaign Monitor, and Zkipster.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in managing large-scale events (preferred).
  • Knowledge of the arts and cultural philanthropy landscape (preferred).

Responsibilities

  • Manage all aspects of a suite of programming for Associate and Chairman’s Council donors including: o Special exhibition previews o Sneak peaks at works in the collection o Exhibition tour programs o Annual dinners o Seasonal cocktail parties o Travel benefits o Partnering with the Manager of Donor Engagement, Events on Leadership Annual Giving benefits for VIP Opening Receptions and cultivation events.
  • Manage events for the Corporate Partners program.
  • Manage all aspects of programming for existing Affinity Groups.
  • Manage all aspects of programming for Anne d'Harnoncourt Society and the Fiske Kimball Society, including: My Favorite Things lecture and annual luncheon.
  • Other duties as determined by the Advancement team in partnership with the Director of Donor Engagement, including: o Reviewing and developing opportunities with the Chief Advancement Officer and the Executive Office. o Developing clear and efficient processes for travel project management and reporting. o Drafting event and program announcements and invitations, ensuring alignment with institutional messaging. o Maintain a comprehensive calendar which reflects all programming and travel activities in all constituencies. o Manage database of opportunities and develop process for reporting.
