Requirements

• Basic Cardiac Life Support required.
• (ARRT-R) Radiography license in the state of Texas required.
• Associate Degree in Radiology required.
• (RT) Radiologic Technologist/Radiographer certified required.
• 5 years of experience required in an advanced modality: CT, Xray, MRI.
• 2 years of leadership experience overseeing multiple modalities/departments preferred: CT, Xray, MRI, Ultrasound, Nuclear Medicine, and Echo.
• HCA experience preferred.
• Strong accountability.
• Ability to have difficult conversations.
• Ability to maintain positive work environment and staff.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates delivery of healthcare services assisting in diagnosis and treatment.
• Directs human and physical resources to achieve an established standard of care in Radiologic sciences.
• Exercises professional judgment in performance of duties and maintains a demeanor complementary to medical ethics.
• Assures appropriate patient care management and adjusts daily operations to meet the needs of a changing working environment.
• Monitors departmental operations to assure compliance with governmental regulations and meet standards established by accrediting agencies.
