About The Position

We are seeking a Manager of Data systems and reporting to join our community committed to delivering hope in the lives of others. The Manager of Data Systems and Reporting serves in a strategic function at Buckner Children and Family Services to work with the Program Development & Design (PDD) team and all BCFS Program teams provide system-related support, data monitoring and analysis, training, and process improvement

Requirements

  • Requires in-depth understanding of a comprehensive field of knowledge. Requires ability to define problems, draw conclusions and make decisions dealing with abstract variables. Bachelor's Degree in statistics, math, computer science, business, social work, or other technical related field of study required. Master's Degree in Business Administration, Social Work, or Data Analytics preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years working experience working with case management systems and social service programs required. Minimum 2 years work experience supporting business operations and process development in an analytics capacity preferred.
  • Requires proficient working knowledge of data management systems, workflows, triggers, queries, exports, imports, and outcome reporting. Requires experience developing and implementing processes, standards and procedures related to data management. Experience with SQL Server coding proficiency and data visualization required.
  • Application knowledge in Office 365 and Excel required.
  • Requires proficient ability to speak, read and write English professionally. Ability to speak, read, and write Spanish preferred
  • Requires ability to use up to 100 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently and/or 20 pounds continuously to move food service and preparation equipment and other objects.
  • Requires ability to walk and stand for prolonged periods of time; ability to turn, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, push, pull, stand and walk over 75% of shift.

Nice To Haves

  • Master's Degree in Business Administration, Social Work, or Data Analytics preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years work experience supporting business operations and process development in an analytics capacity preferred.
  • Experience with BI tools such as Metabase, BOARD, Tableau, Zoho Analytics, PowerBI, Looker, or Snowflake preferred.
  • Ability to speak, read, and write Spanish preferred

Responsibilities

  • Act as the System Administrator for BCFS Case Management Systems including conducting ongoing training for staff, providing system support, managing system errors, improving system processes, and working with third party system staff to resolve issues.
  • Lead initiatives to develop new system processes in collaboration with program staff and leadership as BCFS programs expand domestically and internationally.
  • Process and maintain data from a variety of sources. This includes but is not limited to reviewing data for accuracy, making process adjustments to increase efficiency, and assessing trends or gaps across the organization.
  • Perform extensive data validation/quality assurance analysis within large datasets to ensure data meets BCFS Compliance and Accountability standards.
  • Support Development and Government Relations teams by gathering program data for proposals and reports.
  • Work with Senior Director of Program Development and Design in increasing the quality and indicators (KPIs) for all programs.
  • Using project management methodologies, integrate data and information from corporate strategic projects and/or programs and evaluate how higher-level objectives are being fulfilled according to the respective scope. Consult on, support and require compliance, or take control and directly manage projects as assigned.
  • Timely and accurately address personnel issues including commendations and disciplinary actions using appropriate professional documentation.
