About The Position

Summary Cedar Gate Technologies is seeking a strategic leader with a passion for client success and data operations to be our next Data Onboarding Manager. In this high-impact role, you’ll lead a client-facing team of Data Acquisition Coordinators as you oversee new and expanding client implementations, ensuring timely, accurate, and effective delivery of services. You’ll manage a portfolio of high-profile projects, collaborate cross-functionally, and drive operational excellence. Beyond project execution, you’ll mentor team members, refine onboarding processes, and contribute to Cedar Gate’s mission of enabling our clients’ success in value-based care with the most trusted healthcare data. Requirements

  • 5 or more years of project management or implementation experience, ideally in healthcare or data services
  • More than 2 years in a leadership role, with experience managing or mentoring teams
  • Strong understanding of data onboarding workflows and file exchange processes
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects
  • Strong communication skills, with experience presenting to clients and executives
  • Proven ability to collaborate across teams and manage stakeholder expectations
  • Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Smartsheet, MS Project)
  • Willingness to obtain a Project Management certification (e.g., PMP) within 6 months of hire if not already held
  • Strong Excel and reporting skills
  • Eligible to work in the U.S. now and in the future without assistance in getting an employment visa or work authorization.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with healthcare data (e.g., claims, eligibility, EHR)
  • Experience with SaaS implementation in healthcare
  • Background in data analytics or data quality
  • Project Management certification (e.g., PMP, Six Sigma)

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end data onboarding for new clients and complex expansions, serving as the primary contact for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Manage and mentor a team of Data Acquisition Coordinators, fostering a culture of collaboration and accountability.
  • Collaborate with Strategic Project Management Office (SPMO), Enterprise Client Delivery, Product, and Data teams to align on timelines, deliverables, and resources.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, tracking milestones, dependencies, and risks.
  • Communicate proactively with clients and internal teams to provide updates, clarify requirements, and resolve issues.
  • Facilitate onboarding meetings, including agendas, minutes, follow-ups, and stakeholder communications.
  • Work closely with technical teams to ensure smooth handoffs and resolution of onboarding-related issues.
  • Act as the senior escalation point for onboarding challenges, ensuring visibility and resolution.
  • Champion continuous improvement in onboarding processes and client experience.
  • Provide regular updates to the Director of Data Onboarding and executive leadership.
