About The Position

The Manager of Data Architecture is an integral part of Latham’s Technology & Information Services team. This role will be responsible for leading the data architecture team and overseeing the design and implementation of the organization's data infrastructure, while developing and implementing comprehensive data architecture strategies that align with organizational goals. This role will be located in our Global Services office. Please note that this role may be eligible for a flexible working schedule that allows for a hybrid and in-office presence.

Requirements

  • Demonstrate proven experience in data architecture, data management, and data integration with a track record of leadership responsibilities
  • Display a deep understanding of data structures, database systems, data warehousing, and data modeling
  • Possess experience with business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Qlik) and data architecture platforms (e.g., Azure, Fabric, Databricks)
  • A minimum of seven (7) years of experience in data architecture or a related field, with a track record of supervisory responsibilities
  • A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Management, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field
  • A master’s degree, preferably

Responsibilities

  • Leading and mentoring a team of data architects and integration developers
  • Overseeing the design, maintenance, and enhancement of data systems and processes
  • Working with the Senior Manager of Business Intelligence and Data Systems Integration and Project Manager to prioritize resources and projects
  • Collaborating with technology and business stakeholders to identify data needs and deliver architecture solutions that drive business value
  • Managing data-related projects, including timelines, resources, budgets, and deliverables
  • Protecting and maintaining any highly sensitive, confidential, privileged, financial, and/or proprietary information that Latham & Watkins retains
