We are currently seeking a Manager of Compensation to design, implement, and administer company-wide compensation programs aligned with business objectives. This role will be responsible for developing non-clinical compensation programs and executing competitive strategies that attract, retain, and motivate top talent. This role is ideal for strategic and analytical thinker with strong compensation experience. This role with partner with leaders and functions across the organization to build a strong job and compensation infrastructure.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree is required.
  • 7+ years of experience in compensation (healthcare preferred).
  • Project Planning & Execution: Ability to structure complex initiatives, manage timelines, and deliver results and support stakeholders through change management.
  • Analytic Problem Solving: Strong attention to detail and data-driven decision-making skills; ability to synthesize insights into actionable strategies.
  • Strong Communication: Clear, concise, and persuasive written and verbal communications for diverse audiences.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Skilled at influencing and collaborating across departments and levels.

Nice To Haves

  • Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) certification preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Oversees and administers base pay, incentive plans, commission plans, bonuses, equity programs, and salary benchmarking to ensure market competitiveness, internal equity, and alignment with the organizational strategy.
  • Develops, implements, and communicates consistent pay structure, guidelines, compensation strategies, and job architecture across jobs and business units.
  • Advises managers on making effective pay decisions that support employee engagement and development and comply with compensation policy and budgetary guidelines.
  • Ensures compliance with legal and regulatory requirements related to compensation practices across multiple regions and states in a complex healthcare environment.
  • Leads the continuous improvement of compensation processes, leveraging data analytics and market insights to drive informed decision-making.
  • Collaborates closely with HR COEs, Finance, and business leaders to align compensation programs with organizational goals and budget parameters.
  • Manages vendor relationships (e.g. consultants, counsel, survey providers) and external benchmarking surveys to maintain up-to-date market data and best practices.
  • Drives communication and training initiatives to educate stakeholders on compensation philosophy, policies, and program changes.
  • Owns data collection and analysis processes for market, pay equity, and other compensation studies.
  • Designs and updates compensation management system to meet evolving organization needs.
  • Monitors compensation trends, regulatory changes, and emerging best practices to proactively adapt strategies and maintain competitive advantage.
