The primary responsibility of the position is to provide management and oversight of all public education and public relations activities for Mid-South Transplant Foundation (MSTF). This position is responsible for the oversight of planning and execution of program development to promote public awareness about organ and tissue donation and increase donor designations. This will include all MSTF’s marketing strategies, communications and public affairs activities, both external and internal, ensuring consistency in brand messaging. This position serves as point person for all press and government relations, coordinates strategically with other departments of the organization to develop and coordinate their marketing needs, and oversees development and production of advertising and support materials for MSTF. This position will work closely with the leadership team to foster a culture of donation in the MSTF Designated Service Area (DSA).
