Manages mental and behavioral health services, which can include the treatment of emotional, mental, addiction, and other behavioral disorders. Essential Responsibilities: Responsibilities listed in this section are core to the position. Provides clinical insight and oversight to staff Provides periodic professional develop trainings Ensures quality, person-centered care is occurring through each intervention Ensures the operational environment meets clinical care needs Ensures proper staffing in all settings along with communication to staff in a timely manner Ensures all regulations, documentation, billing, and data reporting are met Ensure the use of appropriate safety planning with the consumer, family, and treatment team Completes rounding on staff as directed Collaborates with community partners the team is working with to ensure appropriate coordination of care is occurring Participates in program planning, development, budgeting, and operation. Participates in the hiring process and training of new staff. Provides services as a QMHP, including, but not limited to, crisis assessments, hospital screening, and treatment planning Act in accordance with the established mission, vision, and values. Abide by the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability privacy and security regulations regarding all aspects of Protected Health Information (PHI). Maintain effective communication and professional working relationships with patients/clients and their representatives, team members, contractors, physicians, peers, outside agencies, and the public.
