About The Position

Responsible for supervising outpatient program staff for behavioral health services and working with Director of Outpatient Clinical Services to implement strategies to further LifeSkills mission.

Requirements

  • Minimum of a master’s degree in a mental health related field with 3 years clinical experience.
  • Licensed to practice in the state of Kentucky when applicable.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills, knowledge and commitment to overarching principals and mission of LifeSkills Behavioral Health Division.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Products including Outlook, Word and Excel.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise 8-10 outpatient program staff.
  • Recruit and retain qualified outpatient program staff to deliver outpatient behavioral health services.
  • Work with Director of Outpatient Clinical Services to ensure outpatient program processes are standardized across the company.
  • Complete performance evaluations on all supervised staff at least annually, more frequently if necessary.
  • Oversee daily program operations.
  • Assist supervisor in development of relevant budgets.
  • Work collaboratively with other directors and/or coordinators to improve client access to services and ensure productivity of staff.
  • Work collaboratively with quality personnel to improve clinical outcomes and to meet standards of corporate compliance as recommended.
  • Contribute to short and long-term organizational planning and strategy as a member of the management team.
  • Direct outpatient program services.
  • Initiate and/or monitor compliance with community partner agreements when relevant.
  • Monitor state required and payer required benchmarks and performance indicators in relation to outpatient therapy services.
  • Provide direct services to clients as needed.
  • Work proactively to address employee and consumer complaints.
