About The Position

As our Manager of Clinical Applications, you will be the leader of the clinical information systems that power Current Clinic’s multi-site ASC and clinic network. You are a forward-thinking technologist who thrives at the intersection of clinical excellence and digital innovation. You will be a creative problem solver, eliminating friction for our patients and providers by ensuring seamless integration between EHRs and specialized cardiology systems—from 3D mapping and EP recording to PACS and telehealth. You will be responsible for scaling these high-impact systems across multiple states, ensuring our clinical users have the high-quality IT support they need to maintain superior patient outcomes in a high-volume cardiology environment.

Requirements

  • Minimum 8 years of healthcare IT experience with at least 3 years in management roles.
  • Demonstrated experience with outpatient clinic and/or procedure center IT implementations.
  • Expert knowledge of EHR systems and concepts.
  • Strong understanding of procedural IT requirements and workflows.
  • Experience with cardiovascular information systems (CVIS) and PACS implementations.
  • Knowledge of HL7v2, FHIR, DICOM, and other healthcare interoperability standards.
  • Cloud-based healthcare IT solution experience.
  • Experience with ambulatory and outpatient operations and regulatory requirements.
  • Experience with rural/remote healthcare IT support models.
  • Familiarity with CMS quality reporting requirements.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage vendor relationships.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent initiatives.
  • Experience presenting to C-level executives and board members.
  • Ability to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to travel up to 25% to clinic and ASC locations nationwide.
  • Comfortable working in clinical environments.
  • Ability to work extended hours during implementation periods.

  • Experience with cardiovascular or electrophysiology IT systems preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and scale clinical IT systems supporting EP-focused ASCs and AFib clinics across multiple states.
  • Oversee integration of specialized EP systems, including hemodynamic monitoring, EP recording systems, and 3D mapping platforms.
  • Manage PACS for CT imaging, ultrasound, fluoroscopy, and other diagnostic modalities, including PACS integration with EHRs.
  • Coordinate ECG repository deployment and EHR integration.
  • Support telehealth and other remote clinician workflow capabilities for AFib clinic operations.
  • Collaborating with the Head of Program Management, support EHR deployment for the ASC and clinic locations.
  • Ensure EHR systems support Current Clinic's model for promoting an exceptional patient experience and a uniquely differentiated positive clinician experience.
  • Optimize clinical workflows to eliminate redundant data entry within and between clinic and ASC settings.
  • Implement appropriate clinical decision support tools tailored to EP care (anticoagulation management, mobile cardiac telemetry (MCT), patient risk stratification, implantable device monitoring).
  • Design and implement workflows, data flows, and technologies to enable interoperability across clinical systems and supporting applications.
  • Manage remote patient monitoring platform implementations with EHR integration.
  • Collaborate to achieve enterprise data aggregation across different data sources, legal entities, and locations.
  • Collaborate with Marketing to deploy patient engagement platforms and "digital front door" solutions for appointment scheduling, pre-registration, and clinical communications.
  • Manage automated patient communication systems (appointment reminders, pre-procedure instructions, post-care follow-up).
  • Coordinate telehealth platform integration for pre-procedure consultations and post-procedure follow-up care.
  • Implement patient education platforms with procedure-specific content for EP and AFib treatments.
  • Ensure patient engagement systems comply with accessibility standards and support diverse patient populations in rural markets.
  • Ensure vendors provide appropriate technical support with escalation procedures.
  • Coordinate with clinical equipment vendors (GE, Philips, Siemens, etc.) on IT integration requirements.
  • Ensure HIPAA compliance across all clinical IT systems.
  • Implement security controls meeting healthcare industry standards.
  • Support CMS quality reporting and state regulatory compliance.
  • Coordinate accreditation support (e.g., AAAHC, Joint Commission).
  • Manage business associate agreements and vendor compliance.
