About The Position

The Manager of Clinic Quality reports to the Director, Practice Transformation. This position leads enterprise ambulatory quality improvement and performance management across the clinic system, leveraging Epic EHR data, reporting tools, and workflows to improve clinical outcomes, patient safety, experience, and regulatory performance. This position will serve as the clinical informatics for the clinic system and will partner closely with System clinical informatics, Epic analysts, analytics teams, and clinic leadership to translate quality goals into Epic enabled workflows, dashboards, and sustainable practice change.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing, public health, healthcare administration, or related field, required.
• Minimum of five (5) years of directly related healthcare quality and leadership experience including data collection and analysis, leading teams and personnel to success around a common goal, experience and success in developing and implementing systematic changes and experience in implementing policy and procedures that perpetuate a customer centric environment.
• Demonstrated experience using Epic data and reporting to drive improvement.
• Possession of a valid Arkansas driver's license is a requirement for this job.

Responsibilities

• Lead clinic network quality improvement initiatives using quality measures, Epic sourced data, including registries, reports, and dashboards to identify performance gaps and monitor improvement.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement by coaching teams on QI resources and tools and facilitating improvement meetings.
• Partner with clinical leadership to develop or refine clinical workflows, protocols, and outcome measures aligned to strategic priorities and best practices.
• Facilitate clinic level and system level improvement work using structured methodologies.
• Use Epic reporting tools, including Reporting Workbench, SlicerDicer, registries, dashboards to monitor clinic performance and stratify results by provider, site, and population.
• Manage routine monitoring of clinic outcome performance and ensure accurate reporting for required internal and external measures.
• Collaborate with clinic leaders and providers to close gaps in care through Epic enabled tools, including health maintenance, registries, SmartSets, SmartForms, SmartPhrases.
• Conduct audits and compliance reviews, including workflow adherence, documentation quality, translate findings into actionable recommendations, and support rapid cycle improvement.
• Collaborate with analytics/IT teams as needed to improve data integrity and reporting infrastructure that supports QI.
• Develop and deliver provider and staff education and technical assistance to improve performance, including targeted support for sites performing below benchmark.
• Create practical tools, including tip sheets, standard work, workflows, and support implementation across multiple clinics.
• Support underperforming clinics with targeted Epic enabled interventions and coaching.
• Support ambulatory regulatory and accreditation readiness by ensuring Epic workflows and documentation support compliance and audit readiness.
• Maintain awareness of applicable regulations and accreditation standards, support readiness activities, internal assessments, and evidence collection.
• Participate in patient safety and event review activities, using Epic data to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
• Participate in Epic governance structures, including quality, ambulatory, or optimization councils to prioritize quality related build and enhancements.
• Serve as project manager for QI pilots and enterprise initiatives; maintain charters, milestones, and benefits tracking/ROI where relevant.
• Prepare and present QI performance updates to leadership committees and governing bodies/boards as assigned.
• Serve as a key liaison between Quality, Clinical Informatics, Epic analysts, and operational leaders.
• Build high-functioning, interdisciplinary teams; coach directors, managers, analysts setting clear expectations, priorities, and accountability.
• Lead communication, training, and adoption plans to embed quality workflows into daily operations.
• Build and lead a high performing team; recruit, develop, and retain operational and quality talent.
• Promote a culture of accountability, transparency, psychological safety, and continuous improvement.
• Develop communication and change management strategies that support alignment to System goals.
• Maintain professional affiliations and stay informed on industry trends through reading, seminars, and conferences.
• Represent Washington Regional in community and industry forums to promote organizational visibility and partnerships.
