About The Position

Position Overview: The Clinic Manager plans, organizes, evaluates, and manages all operational & clinical functions of site. Will ensure financial accountability, productivity, efficiency, and quality care delivery. Requires collaboration with other managers and teams to provide positive patient and staff outcomes. Along with key management, responsible for enhancing corporate relationships with hospital systems and referring offices.

Requirements

  • Licensed Registered Nurse in the State of Michigan preferred.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in healthcare related field required.
  • Minimum of (2) years healthcare/practice management experience preferred.
  • Experience in oncology setting preferred.
  • BLS certification or acquisition within 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

  • Day-to-day accountability for the delivery of quality services.
  • Routinely apply and ensure adherence to policies and procedures.
  • Identify, analyze, and resolve work problems associated with personnel, workflow, site inconsistencies, technology, or equipment to provide quality patient care and cost containment.
  • Assist in organization and quality care improvement by identifying, researching, and proposing change that has a positive effect on outcomes and profitability.
  • Engage and collaborate with staff, other departments, key personnel, and outside customers.
  • Collaborate and communicate across teams to expedite patient flow and treatment.
  • Handle complaints and disputes.
  • Contribute to strategic planning of department.
  • Partner with the reimbursement and finance team to manage and enhance revenue cycle strategies.
  • Assume accountability for employee interviewing, selection, retention, support and encouragement of staff.
  • Manage employee staffing, balancing workloads and assignments to obtain the most effective performance from all personnel.
  • Partners with the Nurse Managers and other department leaders to identify, analyze and resolve issues influencing care delivery.
  • Collaborate with Nursing Director to identify and resolve nursing service issues and improve process, participating in corporate committees as appropriate.
