The Manager of Capital Reporting is a critical position reporting to the Director of Capital Finance Reporting & Analysis. The Manager of Capital Reporting & Analysis will be responsible for the financial reporting on the MBTA's $9+ billion five (5)-year Capital Investment Plan (CIP) and will develop reports and dashboards to monitor capital projects and financial KPIs. This position will be responsible for developing and preparing reporting, analytics, and metrics for relevant stakeholders, including the MBTA board of directors and senior management. This position will meet with project teams to review monthly actual capital spend vs. projected capital spend and develop effective partnerships inside the department and across the MBTA. This position will also be crucial in the development of proactive financial reporting using data analysis tools such as python and SQL.
