About The Position

Prompt is revolutionizing healthcare by delivering highly automated and modern software to rehab therapy businesses, the teams within, and the patients they serve. As the fastest growing company in the therapy EMR space and the new standard in healthcare technology, we’re looking to bring on a Manager of Business Development to accelerate our growth strategy. This is a front-line leadership role overseeing a team focused on sourcing and driving new business opportunities, cultivating strategic partnerships, and expanding Prompt’s market presence. You’ll align your team’s performance with company-wide growth objectives while building a high-accountability culture rooted in clear expectations, fast feedback, and continuous improvement. You won’t be leading from a distance. You’ll be in the trenches with your team every day: coaching outreach strategy, joining partnership conversations, unblocking opportunities in real time, and ensuring strong cross-functional collaboration. You’re the type of leader who knows the state of your pipeline without needing to ask twice. We’re doing something special here and this role will be critical in guiding Prompt through its next phase of growth.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
  • 5+ years managing BDRs in SaaS (ideally vertical) environment. Healthcare a plus but not required.
  • Proven leadership experience managing and developing high-performing teams.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across multiple levels of the organization.
  • A leader with a track record of driving business growth, inspiring teams, and building successful partnerships.
  • Strong financial acumen and experience with business planning, budgeting, and financial analysis.
  • Experience with CRM tools and data analytics to inform decision-making.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of a clear and inspiring vision for business growth, ensuring it aligns with the overall goals of the company.
  • Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing business development team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and excellence.
  • Act as a role model and inspiring leader, instilling a sense of purpose and excitement around business development initiatives.
  • Work closely with the Sales Leadership, providing insights and strategic recommendations for driving sustainable growth.
  • Promote an inclusive and collaborative work environment that values diverse perspectives.
  • Craft and implement a forward-thinking business development strategy that identifies new markets and partnership opportunities.
  • Direct and oversee team business development efforts, including the identification of key partnerships.
  • Establish and track KPIs for the business development team, regularly evaluating performance.
  • Guide the team in making informed, data-driven decisions while also being a hands-on leader.
  • Encourage the exploration of new technologies, business models, and market opportunities.
