About The Position

The Manager of Branding and Marketing is a key member of the Business Strategies Communications team within the Office of the Senior Vice President (SVP) and Chief Operating Officer (COO) at the University of Texas at Austin. This role is designed for a creative and thoughtful content creator who excels in developing and managing engaging content that highlights the university's world-class campus, innovation, and student experience. The position emphasizes the importance of operational excellence and aims to promote the university's mission of Discovery to Impact. The successful candidate will work closely with the Executive Director of Branding and Marketing to support various branding and marketing initiatives across the SVP/COO portfolio. In this role, you will be responsible for creating, reviewing, and editing branding and marketing materials and campaigns. You will collaborate with creative teams to develop effective marketing materials and manage social media campaigns and channels within the organizational portfolio. Additionally, you will organize and manage various organizational events, such as town halls, department-wide meetings, and speaker series, ensuring that all branding and marketing efforts align with the university's strategic goals.
