About The Position

The Nurse Manager assumes 24-hour responsibility in directing and coordinating the clinical activities and operations of Unit. The Nurse Manager directs, supervises, and evaluates the performance of the nursing staff, contributes to the development of a fully qualified and continuously improving staff, and supports work redesign and quality improvement within the department. The Nurse Manager plans and administers the annual budget in collaboration with the Director, Nursing. The Nurse Manager integrates evidence-based practice utilizing the nursing process. Demonstrates Service Excellence at all times. Other duties as assigned. Requirements

Graduation from Accredited School of Nursing
Current RN licensure in Florida
Minimum of two (2) years of acute care experience required
Minimum of three (3) years progressive management experience
BSN required
Current BLS through American Heart Association

Responsibilities

The Nurse Manager assumes 24-hour responsibility in directing and coordinating the clinical activities and operations of Unit.
The Nurse Manager directs, supervises, and evaluates the performance of the nursing staff, contributes to the development of a fully qualified and continuously improving staff, and supports work redesign and quality improvement within the department.
The Nurse Manager plans and administers the annual budget in collaboration with the Director, Nursing.
