About The Position

The Nurse Manager position will oversee the OR at the East Surgery Center. This position is responsible for the delivery of patient care that promotes the safety and well-being of all patients and staff. This leader plans, directs, coordinates, and evaluates the overall clinical practices and activities necessary to function daily. This position participates in the development and implementation of policies and procedures. Monitors and participates in actual patient care. The Nurse Manager maintains open communication with all staff to promote improvement in performance and quality care. This position helps to maintain the budget, evaluates the capture of daily charges, and maintains accountability for charges for supplies and equipment. The Nurse Manager participates in the interviewing, hiring, counseling, and termination of employees.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in nursing.
  • Graduate of NLN, CCNE, or ACEN accredited school of nursing preferred.
  • Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid license to practice in Indiana.
  • Two (2) years of experience in surgery/OR/Operating Room preferred.
  • Relevant nursing certification (CNOR) preferred.
