What you’ll do: Leader of an Emergence department and a Telemetry Unit Oversees quality of patient care to assure delivery of individualized nursing care Oversees patient care delivery to maximize patient/family satisfaction and minimize risk of injury or negative outcomes to patients or employees while serving as a resource for staff Directs staff during emergency situations Coordinates orientation and/or training for team Responsible for driving patient care across the continuum through leadership of disciplinary care rounds and care management
Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license that allows you to practice in our state
- BSN required from an accredited nursing program
- Minimum of 3 years leadership experience OR minimum of 5 years leadership experience in the discipline OR Master’s Degree and no experience
- Two years in charge or leadership position within last five years in a hospital setting.
- Five years recent nursing experience
- Basic Life Support (BLS) required
- ACLS required within 6 months
- Specialty certification required within 6 months
- Additional certification or licensure may be required for some specialty areas
Responsibilities
