About The Position

You will manage a group of Project Managers and be responsible for the execution of tactical (short to medium term) nuclear site projects from inception to closeout, managing the scope, schedule and cost. To obtain and maintain employment and unescorted access at DCPP, you must be able to pass a drug and alcohol screen, a security background check, psychological screen, computer-based training, and be subject to random drug and alcohol screening. PG&E is providing the salary range that the company in good faith believes it might pay for this position at the time of the job posting. This compensation range is specific to the locality of the job. The actual salary paid to an individual will be based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, specific skills, education, licenses or certifications, experience, market value, geographic location, and internal equity. We would not anticipate that the individual hired into this role would land at or near the top half of the range described below, but the decision will be dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable salary range is:California Minimum: $169,000California Maximum: $289,000

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute project plans, including scope, schedule, budget, risk management and communication plans.
  • Communicate project status and issues to stakeholders, including project team members, clients and senior leadership.
  • Manage project documentation, ensuring all project-related documentation is complete, accurate and up to date.
  • Identify and oversee resolution of project performance issues
  • Manage vendor relationships and ensure vendor obligations are met in line with established contracts
  • Lead a team of Project Managers, Schedulers, Cost Analysts and / or other subject matter experts, as needed.
  • Promote accountability through recognition, coaching, training, and development
  • Foster teamwork and embrace innovative approaches to accomplish goals efficiently and effectively
  • Work within deadlines and be flexible with changing priorities
  • Lead and manage communication and resolution of emergent project issues
  • Participate in self-assessments, benchmarking, audits, and inspections
  • Maintain all required Diablo Canyon project management and administrative qualifications
  • Support Diablo Canyon refueling outages, Duty Team and the Emergency Response Organization (ERO)
