About The Position

The Night Crew Manager is responsible foroverseeing the entire night operations of the grocery store, ensuring efficient stocking, inventory management, and team performance. This role involves strategic planning, team leadership, and operational excellence to meet the store's objectivesand enhance customer satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of inventory systems and procedures.
  • Awareness of grocery products and categories to handle and store items correctly.
  • Knowledge of OSHA guidelines and other relevant health and safety regulations.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Precision in checking and recording inventory, ensuring accuracy in stock levels and documentation.
  • Proficiencyin using inventory management software, barcode scanners, and other warehouse technologies.
  • Strongverbal and written communication skills for coordinating with other staff and managing documentation.
  • Excellent organizational and strategic planning abilities.
  • Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
  • Ability to maintainorganized storage areas and manage inventory efficiently.
  • Ability to identifyand resolve issues related to inventory discrepancies or storage problems.
  • Ability to adapt to changing situations, manage multiple demands, and work effectively with diverse personalities.
  • Aptitude for making informed decisions quickly, often in high-pressure environments.
  • Stand and walk for extended periods, typically 8-hour shifts.
  • Lift and carry items up to 25 pounds frequentlyand up to 50 pounds occasionally.
  • Perform repetitive motions such as reaching, bending, stooping, squatting, and handling products.
  • Climbing ladders to perform warehousetasks at elevated heights.
  • Ability to perform tasks that require fine motor skills, such as using tools or handling small objects.
  • Operate equipment to move or store products and displays.
  • Maintain clear communication with team members.
  • Move quickly and efficiently to manage workload.
  • Maintain physical stamina to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Over five yearsof Grocery or Warehouse Managerexperience preferred.
  • Supervisory experience is required.
  • Complete the company’s OSHA-accreditedforklift training.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement inventory management strategies to ensure optimalstock levels.
  • Analyze sales trends and forecast demand to make informed ordering decisions.
  • Coordinate with suppliers to manage deliveries, ensuring timelyand accuratereplenishment
  • Lead, motivate, and mentor the night crew team to achieve performance targets.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
  • Identifyand address training needs, ensuring the team is well-equipped to perform their duties.
  • Oversee the efficient execution of overnight stocking and inventory processes.
  • Ensure all merchandise is stocked according to store specifications and standards.
  • Monitor and manage workflow to meet productivity goals and deadlines.
  • Ensure the store is well-organized, clean, and visually appealing forcustomers.
  • Develop and implement effective merchandising strategies to attract customers and promote sales.
  • Address and resolve any operational issues that may impactcustomer satisfaction.
  • Ensure all team members adhere to safety protocols and store policies.
  • Conduct regular inspections to maintaina safe and compliant work environment.
  • Address any safety concerns promptly and implement corrective actions.
  • Resolvedamaged or malfunctioning equipment.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
